A shelf that leaves the room in view
The display takes the spotlight.
A clear, low-profile shelf gives collections, perfume, plants, bathroom essentials, kitchen spices, and the small things you want close at hand a place without hiding the room behind them. Light passes through the acrylic, reducing shadows and keeping objects visible from above and below.
Each shelf is custom fabricated and hand-finished in Canada from one solid piece of nominal ¼-inch virgin PMMA cast acrylic. Choose the length, depth, mounting direction, corners, and other details for your space. For an unusual size, wall, or intended load, explain the application in the order notes so the configuration can be confirmed.

How it is made
Shelf Science
The shelf is formed as one piece, without bonded panels. Cast acrylic resists moisture and humidity and has some natural flex. Its loaded angle depends on the shelf dimensions, incline, wall, mounting, and where the weight is placed. See the capacity explanation before relying on a numeric load for a particular installation.

The clear look is only the beginning. Set the size, then choose the details that make the shelf work on your wall and for what you want to display.
- Clear displayLight passes through the shelf and helps reduce shadows around the objects you want people to see. The wall remains visible behind the display.
- One-piece cast acrylicFormed from one solid piece of nominal ¼-inch virgin PMMA cast acrylic, without bonded or joined panels.
- Made to your dimensionsEnter the length and depth your space calls for. Use the order notes for an unusual size so we can confirm the build.
- Made to order in CanadaEach shelf is custom fabricated and hand-finished for the configuration you select.
- Ready for everyday roomsCast acrylic resists moisture and humidity, making it useful where a clear shelf and easy-to-care-for surface matter.
- Mounting choicesChoose lip direction, angle, and hole layout. Standard pre-drilled screw-mount shelves include screws, anchors, acrylic cup washers, and cover caps.
- Finishing detailsChoose square or rounded corners, a front edge retainer, and cable slots or cutouts where needed.
- Configured for your loadAn upward incline can help a loaded shelf settle toward level. Tell us the intended weight and where it will sit so we can confirm the design.
- A straighter long shelfLong, narrow shelves may use split rear mounting tabs to reduce bowing. Tab width, placement, and incline can be adjusted for the intended load.
- Space for special requestsUse order notes to explain custom placement, openings, or other fabrication details that the standard options do not cover.

From your measurements to your wall
Make it yours.
- Measure the space. Length runs left to right along the wall. Depth is how far the shelf projects into the room.
- Choose the finish and mounting. Select corners, lip direction, angle, mounting holes and any cable openings in the configurator.
- Tell us the details. Add notes or a supporting file for anything the standard controls cannot explain.
Shelf capacity, made visible
How capacity works
A slight upward incline gives a loaded shelf room to settle toward level. The shape made at the factory matters, as does where the weight sits.
Same shelf. Three manufactured angles.
Read down each column as one centered weight changes from 10 lb to 15 lb. Every drawing shows a 10 × 10 in shelf with a thin ¼ in deck and a continuous 3 in mounting lip.
Swipe sideways to compare all three angles.
| Manufactured flat Front starts level | Manufactured with slight incline Front starts a little upward | Manufactured with more incline Front starts further upward |
|---|---|---|
The changing angles are schematic, not measured deflection. A flat 10 × 10 in shelf may dip below level around 10 lb. In an owner example, a shelf made with about 3° to 4° of upward incline can approach level around 25 to 30 lb, depending on mounting and load placement.
Spread weight along the shelf.
Longer, well-mounted shelves offer more places to distribute items. These are placement examples, not a load rating.
Each pictured weight is 5 lb for illustration. Our 40 to 50 in long and 10 in deep inclined shelf example discusses roughly 40 to 60 lb spread along the length. That is not a point-load or universal rating.
Plan the whole installation. Depth, lip or tab design, wall, fasteners, incline and item placement all affect the result. Keep heavy items closer to the wall, and ask us to review an uncertain setup or a load around 35 lb or more.

Warranty & Liability
The terms below describe Xform3’s published shelf warranty and insurance information. Keep your order details and contact Xform3 with questions about a specific shelf.
One-year shelf warranty
Xform3 provides a one-year warranty on its floating acrylic shelves. If you believe a shelf does not meet its specified requirements, is damaged, or differs from its description, contact Xform3 with your order number and a description of the issue.
Warranty questions are reviewed against the shelf ordered and the details of the concern. The warranty statement on this page does not establish a particular load rating. Shelf performance depends on its size, wall, mounting, installation and the distribution of weight.
Care and installation
Install the shelf using mounting hardware appropriate for the wall and the selected hole layout. Follow the hardware manufacturer’s instructions. Clean acrylic with a non-abrasive microfiber cloth and a cleaner identified as safe for acrylic.
Do not use abrasive compounds or treat the visual configurator as a structural approval. Ask Xform3 before installation if the delivered configuration or hardware differs from your order.
Commercial and product liability insurance
Xform3 Inc. carries commercial and product liability insurance. A certificate of insurance and further coverage information are available upon request. Contact us if your project requires insurance documentation.
Contact and applicable rights
For a warranty or product concern, contact Xform3 with the order number, shelf dimensions and clear photographs when relevant. Please allow Xform3 to review the concern before arranging a return.
Nothing on this page is intended to limit rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

Delivery and shipment concerns
When a shipment arrives damaged, keep the packaging and contact Xform3 promptly with your order number and photographs of the package and shelf. Xform3 will review the information and explain the next step.
Carrier service, transit time and delivery conditions depend on the selected route. For a time-sensitive order, contact Xform3 before placing it.
Made-to-order shelves
Shelves are made to order rather than stocked. Before ordering, check the dimensions and selected options carefully. If you have not experienced Xform3 shelves and plan to order a larger quantity, Xform3 recommends ordering a sample first.
Returns and order concerns
Returns are accepted only if a shelf does not meet the specified requirements, is damaged, or does not match the description provided. Contact Xform3 with the order details and photographs before arranging a return.
